The Antiposter: Antipoems

Poster: 130x60cm.
Icosahedron: 15x17x19 cm.

The Antiposter is an evolution of the Antibook, which challenged our idea of what a book should be.

The Antiposter does the same for the long-established poster; as a flat page it is seemingly meaningless, a cryptic slicing of letters and tracing of gridlines, but when carefully assembled these pieces of type form a message that is bold and imposing, fuelled with the impact of their meticulous process of modular origami.

In showing us the geometric plan – what would be the ordinary poster – Francisca confronts our expectations and counters them with the three-dimensional logic of the Antiposter, the powerfully formed icosahedron.
