The Bodleian Libraries at the University of Oxford have acquired Francisca Prieto’s monograph for their collection, joining the artist’s book The Antibook and the print series Printed Character, already held there.
Founded in 1602, the Bodleian is one of the oldest libraries in Europe and one of the world’s leading research institutions, holding more than 13 million printed items across its collections. Its longstanding commitment to preservation and scholarship resonates closely with Prieto’s exploration of structure, legacy and the enduring presence of the written word.
Francisca Prieto’s monograph is also held in distinguished public and university collections, including the National Art Library at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Tate Library and Archive, the British Library and the Fine Arts Library at Cornell University, New York.
